Brigade StreetBrigade Street is emerging as a key east-west corridor. It will serve as a important connection between the planned Lowline and existing/new residences on the peninsula’s east side. The improvements identified by the City and the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) are intended to improve the safety and comfort for all road users, and enhance connectivity for people walking and bicycling to the future Lowcountry Lowline. The project will extend along Brigade Street from the Lowcountry Lowline to Huguenin Ave.
